  • A current passport. It should be no more than ten years old and valid for at least three months beyond the day you want to exit the Schengen area—older passports with visas (if you have them).

  • Proof of travel insurance. A document proving that you have travel health insurance for the entire Schengen area, with a minimum coverage of 50,000 euros in case of any medical emergency, including diseases, accidents, and even repatriation in the event of death. 
  • Accommodation documentation. A paper that details where you will stay during your stay in Schengen. 
  • Proof of financial ability. Evidence proving you have enough money to maintain yourself financially throughout your Schengen stay. This could be one of the following options:
  • Bank account statement demonstrating that you have sufficient funds in your account for the trip. The statement must be at most three months old.
  • Sponsorship Letter – written by another individual confirming that they would financially sponsor your vacation to Schengen. This letter must be accompanied by a bank statement from the sponsor that is at most three months old to be valid.
  • A combination of your bank account statement and a sponsorship letter.
  • Proof of visa fee payment.

Decide The Mode Of Applying For A Visa
